Consumer/SME - You run a small website with lots of jokes on it which is updated every day. You want to make the service mobile so that people can get the Joke of the Day wherever they are. Simply promote to them to text joke to 83248 (at 25p of which you earn a commission). They immediately get back that day's joke. You can update the joke each day by logging into the iTAGG control panel and modifying the response text. If you have different categories of joke, you can set it up so that people who want blonde jokes send joke blonde to 83248 whilst people wanting irish jokes send joke irish to 83248.
Consumer - You are hitting the West End on Saturday night. Tell friends that to get details to text jane drinks to 83248 on Saturday morning. They will receive back an sms with directions and the name of the pub. You set this up in the iTAGG control panel on Friday, but then on Friday evening the venue changes so a quick change to the text in the control panel means the information is constantly up to date.
Consumer - You meet someone in a bar and want to give them your details. Get them to text john to 83248. They will receive back an sms with your mobile number, name and other vital statistics. You also get their mobile number logged and sent to your iTAGG control panel.
Local Council - You want to get the opinions of the local residents about a new bus shelter you are planning. In the letters sent to residents or the notice placed in the local paper simply add "send shelter yes or shelter no to 83248". Using the iTAGG control panel you can see a full report on responses for the yes's and no's, and even see a graph generated from those results.
Charity - You want to send a petition to the government about landmines. In your advertising and on your website simply add "to be added to the petition please text landmines stop to 83248 (costs 25p)". Using the iTAGG control panel you can easily count up the number of responses and download a list of all the mobile numbers to produce a paper petition. You will also receive a commission from each response which can go towards your charity efforts.
Estate Agent - How many people pass by houses you are selling when you are closed and would just love some basic info and your phone number to call on Monday. Add an iTAGG to the sales board. e.g. "text halifax h123 to 83248". Upon texting, the person will get back a text at 25p (of which you earn a commission) with basic details of the house price and number of rooms plus your phone number. Their request is also forwarded to the email address of the estate agent office handling this house so that they can chase them on Monday morning. Once the house is sold you can immediately use the iTAGG control panel to modify the response text to say that the house is now off the market.
Plumber - How many people see your van whiz by but do not have time to take down your phone number or email address. Add "text plumber to 83248" to the side of your van. Easier for people to remember and more likely that they will do it straight away. Within seconds they will get back an sms contains details of your phone number, email address and basic rates. The sms cost of a few pence can be paid by yourself if you do not want your potential customers to be charged for premium rate sms. You will also have their request logged in the iTAGG control panel, and can immediately forward their message to your mobile phone so that you can contact them to see if they need any work doing straight away.
Marketing/Advertising - You are designing a bill poster for a big new band and to be placed across the UK. Add an iTAGG so that people may immediately request further info about the band and tour dates. Simply add "text jimmie start to 83248 to subscribe to band news" to the call to action of the poster. You send back an immediate sms saying thanks for subscribing and to unsubscribe simply text jimmie stop to 83248. Later that week you can very simply from the iTAGG control panel send an sms to everybody who is currently subscribed with details of the bands next album release and a url to a web page where they can hear a snippet of each track.
Television and Radio - You produce a small chat show that is shown on Sky TV, or alternatively run a local radio show. Your budget isn't quite up to Big Brother but you'd really like to have people text in their views directly to the host or DJ whilst live on air. Simply tell people to text tellthehost followed by your comments to 83248 (at 25p). The views will appear within seconds in the iTAGG control panel that is on the internet-connected PC in the control room. The producer can sift through the comments and read them into the earpiece of the host. You earn a commission on each text.
Adult Website - You run an adult website and would like people to vote for their favourite model who will then appear in future photos. Simply tell people to "text nicest model-name to 89430". 89430 is a regulated adult shortcode managed by iTAGG and allows for adult related services. The results of your vote will appear in the iTAGG control panel for you to easily count up.
