iTAGG
(http://www.itagg.com) is a new sms-based product from iTAGG, a leading UK based mobile solutions company. iTAGG have taken the concepts of 2-way sms and the use of keywords on shortcodes and developed a low-entry mobile product that is available to everybody from consumers through to SME's, marketing companies and corporates.
Acting like a mobile domain name, every person and every business can now have their own unique keyword (or iTAGG) on a five digit shortcode from just £116.32 per year allowing just about anybody with a UK mobile to text them.
Text messages sent to a particular shortcode/keyword combination then activate different response features depending on how the iTAGG owner has configured it in the easy-to-use web-based control panel. Up to 100 sub-keywords can also be used to control different responses.
An immediate sms response may be sent back to the user - either paid for by the iTAGG owner or as a premium-rate message from which the owner receives a commission. In addition, an iTAGG owner may see their inbound and outbound sms messages by logging into their Hotmail-style account at
www.iTAGG.com. Inbound sms may also be forwarded to the iTAGG owner's e-mail account or to their web-based system for more complex processing. Users are also free to send premium-rate sms on several tariffs to most UK mobiles, receiving higher commission rates.
Other additional features such as voting, subscription services, location-based information, etc are also now available.
